NYSCHA 2024 Annual Meeting
Come Together: We Are Family
November 13-14, 2024 | Delta Hotels by Marriott Utica
The New York State College Health Association (NYSCHA) hosts an Annual Meeting in the fall to help college health professionals stay abreast of current topics affecting their practice and the students on their campuses. Every two years, the New York State College Health Association (NYSCHA) joins the New England College Health Association (NECHA) for a combined annual meeting.
This year NYSCHA will host the NYSCHA 2024 Annual Meeting, which will be held November 13-14, 2024 at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Utica.
The NYSCHA annual meetings bring college health professionals together in a collaborative effort to enhance the well-being and academic success of college students by offering multidisciplinary, educational programs as well as networking opportunities.
The Conference Planning Committee will select programs that meet the needs and interests of the disciplines in college health, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, clinical support staff, administrators, health educators, mental health professionals, and students. While the annual meetings are designed primarily for college health professionals, we welcome everyone with an interest in health services for students. Individuals from other departments within a college or university, community health agency professionals, and students may find the annual meetings a good fit for their professional development.
The Theme – Come Together: We Are Family
This year’s theme points to the value NYSCHA places on belonging and connection, essential components of the work of college health professionals. We want attendees to feel welcomed and supported in the work they do and to have the opportunity to meet, connect, and learn from college health colleagues from colleges and universities throughout New York State. With our emphasis on celebrating collaboration within and across disciplines, our goal is to provide multiple opportunities to address health care issues affecting college students from a multidisciplinary perspective. We want you to become part of our NYSCHA family.
