OVERVIEW
The feedback from attendees at the NYSCHA 2008 Annual Meeting was positive, with many attendees commenting on the quality of the presentations they attended. On behalf of the NYSCHA planning committee, we would like to say “thank you” to our expert speakers who shared their knowledge and expertise with us. We would also like to extend our thank you to the 28 exhibiting companies. In addition, we appreciate the support provided by the companies that sponsored an event, speaker, or service.

HANDOUTS FOR PRESENTATIONS
In response to the attendees’ requests for copies of the handouts from the presentations, we are posting the handouts on this site. The majority of speakers provided their PowerPoint and/or handouts. The handouts are organized the same way they were during the Annual Meeting (i.e., WE-1, WE-2, etc.). On the Program Schedule below, the program title is underlined if the handout is on the site. All handouts are in PDF format. Also included below is the list of program abstracts, which may be helpful as you decide which handouts to review. If additional handouts are received, they will be placed on the web site.

CONTINUING EDUCATION (CE) CERTIFICATES
If you applied for continuing education credits, a certificate will be mailed to you by the NYSCHA Conference Planner by mid December. If you did not leave your Learner Evaluation Booklet in the box at the conference registration table, you should mail it to Linda Dudman, NYSCHA Conference Planner, by December 1. Her address is University of Rochester, Box 270472, Rochester, NY 14627. You can e-mail (ldudman@uhs.rochester.edu) or call (585 273-5770) with questions.

CONFERENCE EVALUATIONS
Thank you to everyone who completed the session evaluations and the overall evaluation. Your feedback will be helpful to the 2009 conference planning committee as they consider potential speakers and look for suggestions for topics of interest to attendees. Approximately half of the attendees completed an Overall Evaluation form. The feedback about how well we met our objectives and how well the conference met the attendees’ expectations was positive. In October 2009, NYSCHA will be joining the New England College Health Association in Burlington, Vermont for the NECHA/NYSCHA 2009 Combined Annual Meeting. As host of the meeting, NECHA will take primary responsibility for planning the annual meeting. NYSCHA will have a representative on the planning committee. NYSCHA members are encouraged to submit proposals and suggestions for topics and/or speakers in response to the Call for Proposals that will be sent by the NECHA Planning Committee.

THANK YOU’S FROM THE NYSCHA CONFERENCE PLANNER
We could not have a successful Annual Meeting without the help and support of many people throughout the planning process and during the meeting itself. Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2008 Annual Meeting a success.
Special thanks go to:
- The members of the NYSCHA Planning Committee.
- All of the speakers who shared their expertise with us.
